Hello dear readers! My name is Jenn and I am a Bay Area native currently living in Los Angeles. I started this blog as a creative outlet for me. If you can't already tell, I love the color purple. I have a pretty huge stash of drugstore and department store makeup that will provide a lot of inspiration for me (I am NC20, neutral-warm with a hint of olive, by the way). I'll be showing my readers my makeup collection and how the colors look "in action"! I do my own makeup for fun and have done a couple of my friends' makeup a few times. I do not consider myself a professional. Makeup is fun to play with and it's a good way to exercise my artistic side without the messy oil paints. For the longest time, I thought makeup for my light Asian skin tone did not exist. I just had to dig a little deeper and I hope my musings can help someone who is feeling "stuck" when it comes to makeup. My go-to look is a neutral eye with black winged eyeliner, black mascara, and berry lipstick. I have long and dark stick-straight eyelashes so I am a sucker for a fast-drying mascara that can hold a curl. I love a good deal! I was taught growing up to learn to stretch my dollar. The vast majority of things I buy are not full-price. It's hard to not splurge right away...
