Could be because I marathon sewed this MAJORLY FUN Eve jacket by Schnittchen All. Day. LONG.

Actually, I enjoyed every drop of it, right down to weirdo improv binding every seam and deciding to quilt the contrasting sleeves...

(no for real, weirdo binding, topstitched 4 rows times on each side of each seam)

My own damn fault, waiting till the last minute. Or maybe it's just that reverse pyschology works best on me. Want me to sew for someone else? Ask me to take part in Selfish Sewing Week, thrown by the lovely Rachael of Imagine Gnats. Watch, as I laugh derisively at the need for a Selfish Sewing Week. I AM ALWAYS SELFISH SEWING! IT IS HOW I ROLL! Then, delight! As I use every spare minute leading up to the deadline to sew for an- (extremely special! so hugely loved! probably my muse!) -other. WHAT IS THIS UNSELFISHNESS.

In fact, sewing all week for The A-Muse (she's a laugh riot, did I mention?) made me so happy, I didn't even stress out over racing to beat the selfish clock today. In fact, I was so self assured about it, I announced I'd be throwing down a coat in a day over instagram. HAD TO. Selfish Sewing Week ends tonight, you see...
