Winter controversial

Just right after first signs of Christmas in the shop windows, drop of temperature below 10C and the feverish phone calls from home already planning the Christmas Eve, there is one thing that keeps comming each year as well, already inevitable in winter season. The eternal subject of conflicts and controvercials. Quite inconspicuous, it turns views against one another – EMU. There wouldn’t be nothing interesting in the topic, if not for the fact that after all, I do not go out in slippers, but somehow I endanger myself to my photographer, who refuses to photograph them. So I change my current way of thinking about emu-mania. From today, I confess principle: who once try, can never avoid these coachy-douve- like shoes.

Zaraz po pojawieniu się pierwszych witryn świątecznych, spadku temperatury poniżej 10C i gorączkowych telefonów z domu planujących wigilię, jest jedna rzecz, która tak samo powraca co roku, nieodzownie już kojarząc się z sezonem zimowym. Odwieczny temat sporów i kontrowersji. Zupełnie niepozorny podzielacz poglądów – EMU. Nie byłoby w tym temacie nic ciekawego, gdyby nie fakt, że przecież nie wychodzę z domu w kapciach, a jednak narażam się na sprzeciw fotografa, próbującego odmówić ich uwieczniania. Zmieniam więc mój dotychczasowy sposób myślenia o emu-mani. Od dzisiaj wyznaję zasadę: kto raz spróbuje, już nie uniknie tych kanapowo – pieżynowych butów.
