Lisa Perry Fall/Winter 2015 Presentation

This fashion week I had the pleasure of attending the Lisa Perry Fall/Winter 2015 Presentation. I was able to meet Lisa, who was so kind and welcoming. As a powerful mainstream designer, I love how she openly shares her love for vintage.
Inspired by her passion for vintage 1960s and early 1970s fashion, Lisa Perry began her line in New York City in 2006. Her inspirations stay true to the bold colors and geometric shapes of the Mod 60s. You can find her modern collections at her boutiques on Madison Avenue and East Hampton, or online.
This collection is full of fun bold colors, textures and shapes. There are mini and maxi dresses, structured cutouts, swinging pleated fabrics, pants and fabulously shaggy fur. My favorite was the green maxi dress with its sheer sleeves and stunning color, but after I got home, these little geometric minis really stood out in my memory. How much fun would it be to style them!

Lisa's inspiration for this collection was the geometry of the bridge visible from her window. You can really see this in some of the angles and details of the mini dresses.

...And I just wanted to share a little from my instagram... what I wore on the first day of Fashion Week. Thank you to the inspiring designer Lisa Perry for this opportunity to share her designs with you!
