Crafting Tip!

Rather than die cut lots of different colors of flowers and leaves, I die cut them all with Whisper White cardstock, then just sponged color on them with Sponge Daubers and Stampin’ Up! ink pads! You can also control the amount of color this way, too, so that you can have light and dark Grapefruit Grove flowers if you wish! Adhere the tiny flowers and leaves to your project with Glue Dots.

I stamped the flowers and leaves along the edge of the Whisper White cardstock with Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive ink, then die cut the edge (shown in the tip above), and layered it over a 4″ x 2″ piece of All My Love designer paper. Everything is layered onto a Flirty Flamingo side fold base card.

The finishing touches on my card today are Basic Pearls and Old Olive Linen Thread.

The You Are Loved sentiment is in the Forever Lovely stamp set and was stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink on Whisper White cardstock and die cut with the Stitched Label framelits.
