Vintage Nail Art – Stripes, Dots and Roses
Hello my beautiful friends. It seems like this week I have been keeping up well with blogging. Yay! I am always happy if I can blog and share my nail art with you more often. Today’s vintage nail art is inspired by the very talented @newlypolished. She is such a talented lady and was so kind to make a tutorial to this design, which was so helpful with recreating it.
This particular design is a recreation of @m_a_tom‘s one. I am entering her nail art contest on Instagram and the goal was to recreate one of her designs or make a nail art that is inspired by her nail art. You guys should check out this contest, the prizes are amazing! I chose this cute vintage nail art, because you know me and my floral obsession. Plus I thought stripes and polka dots looked so great together!
The beautiful turquoise base is the well known KIKO no. 389. It’s a dupe for China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, but with a much better formula. The white elements were done with Essie Blanc and my white striping polish. As for the rose detail, I started with a pale pink base, which was KIKO no. 506. Gorgeous baby pink! The details were done with China Glaze – Bottoms Up, Gina Tricot Beauty – Raspberry and Essie – Blanc. I am quite pleased how the rose came out. Lots of details and a beautiful depth.
