Custom Coffee Tumbler (with free downloadable inserts)

I know I say that a lot, but this really might be my favorite DIY project ever! I totally made myself a custom Pearls & Scissors coffee tumbler. Ok, so by made I mean I designed the custom graphic, and then clicked a few buttons on Snapmade. But, that still counts, right?

Buying a coffee tumbler has been on my list for as long as we’ve lived here, but I never found one that I truly loved. And spending 15 euros on something I half-heartedly liked just wasn’t an option. So, when Snapmade contacted me and asked me if I’d like to collaborate, I took one look at their site, and sent in my definite yes. Custom anything? Really?! How could I say no to that?

This was my chance to create a custom coffee tumbler I would love. And, of course, it had to be all about DIY. So, I did a quick search on dafont.com and found this really cool font with all kinds of sewing and DIY related illustrations.

I checked for the required image size, and created my own custom image complete with the Pearls & Scissors logo (a little free advertising around town won’t hurt, right?).

Of course, you don’t have to create a whole new graphic. You can use any high-resolution image you have – a family photo, travel pics, a scan of your kiddos latest artwork – or use an image from the huge gallery at Snapmade. You can literally put anything on their products. Plus, a custom mug or bottle would make great personalized gifts, too. I’m thinking I need a “DIY is my jam!” mug next.

To give you even more options, I created 3 free downloadable graphics for you to choose from and use for your own custom tumbler, or mug, or water bottle, or… you get the point. Just click on the image and download the high-resolution file.

I couldn’t leave hubby out of the fun, so I ordered him a custom bottle. I can’t take credit for that image, though. You can find it here, if your interested.

I really loved the whole ordering process as well. It was very quick and easy. The hardest part was coming up with what to put on the items.

I’ve got to say, having a custom tumbler makes coffee drinking even more enjoyable.
