Featuring Brushstroke Stamps, Day 5

Join us as we explore products from our newest release, Bring on the Happy. Each week you’ll find a special designer showcase, videos, and card samples with complete supplies and instructions. This week we take a closer look at our newest brushstroke stamps.

Today it’s time for a double-take…two videos and two techniques. The first technique demonstrates the beautiful stamped details one can achieve using our brushstroke stamps with Memento Luxe ink pads.

And for your double-take, this second technique demonstrates the painterly look that can be achieved when combining brushstroke stamps with Distress Markers and Distress Paints.

And did you know stamping with paints is also great way to add brushstroke images to your next mixed media canvas? Simply stamp your image using the technique shown above, but rather than stamping on cardstock, carefully stamp onto white tissue paper. Once dry, trim around the image. Adhere your stamped image to the canvas by applying a layer of gel medium, or decoupage medium, both below and on top of the tissue paper layer. The tissue paper fades away into the canvas and you are left with a beautiful image on your canvas. TIP: This is also a great way to add a stamped sentiment to your canvas!

And remember, the stamping fun continues!
