Pantone Color of the Year, Marsala!

Good morning, color lovers! Today I have a really gorgeous editorial to share with you. And to be honest? I seriously can't wait to dive into all of the details! With a dream team of wedding pros including floral design by Petals and Lucy, and event design by Some Like it Classic — I'll be honest with you guys — this styled shoot is full of jaw-dropping inspiration. And lucky for us Jennifer Wagner was there to capture all of the pretty.

From the photographer, "When the Pantone of the year — Marsala — was announced, we couldn't work fast enough to get a styled shoot together to show off this bold and brazen color! Inspired by the deep tones, we went with a romantic yet playful feel to our shoot and our aim was to show all of the amazing ways you can play with the pantone color through florals, cake, makeup tones and even the sunset!"

Shot at the world renowned, Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, this shoot will leave brides looking to mix some marsala into their sangrias at their wedding! So let's take a look, shall we?

I told you guys this shoot was filled to the brim with pretty! Am I right? And these colors? Oh... these colors? So vibrant, so lively, so rich and romantic. There's no denying it — this color palette really pops. And yet, it's still so sophisticated and elegant.
I love how they paired the rich and romantic Marsala with these gold tones. And there's also some really pretty lavender and blush tones included here. What's also working really nicely here are all the textures. More specially, I love the textured champagne linens they used. So full of beauty and inspiration.
