This is Part 1 of a 3 part pattern & tutorials mini series for an 18 inch doll outfit. Part 1 is the reversible dress pattern and tutorial. Part 2 is the embroidery tutorial to embellish the dress. Part 3 will be the reversible headband and capris pattern and tutorial.

Here is the pattern. You can click on it and print it at 100% or go to the PDF.

Materials: 1/4 yards of 2 fabrics thread 11" of 1/2 wide velcro
Optional Materials: ric rac 2 tiny buttons
*If you plan to add the embroidery, refer to Part 2 of this tutorial (it will be up soon) and complete it before cutting out the pattern.

*If you are going to add buttons on to the dress(es), do so at this point.
