Orgasmic Burgers at 8 Cuts Burger Blends!
Though I love my ramen and sushi, there are several windows of time when I get a mad craving for a damn good burger. I found myself in SM Megamall a few Fridays ago with some friends. The queue for Ippudo Ramen was ridiculously long, good thing I spied 8 Cuts not so far away. It felt like being in the right place, at the right time. Hello, burger. We meet again.
Piggy 245.00PHP or 5.46USD. "A quarter-pounder beef bomb blend patty of the chuck and short rib with mozzarella, fried bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, lollo rossa, tomatoes, and garlic aioli all on a sesame seed bun."
As if bacon isn't enough, they also add bacon jam. What the hell is this madness?! Well, it's the kind of madness that turns a light eater into almost inhaling her burger in a matter of minutes. My friend also added a side of sunny side up egg, it's her version of cherry on top. I say, quite fitting for a delectable burger variety.
Rising Shroom 280.00PHP or 6.24USD. "Mustard-fried quater-pounder steak cut blend patty of sirloin and chuck with fried oyster mushroom tempura, white truffle cream cheese and sauteed mushrooms, all on a kaiser roll."
Before you make any assumptions, this behemoth tastes waaaaay better than how plain-looking it is. Don't be judgmental, didn't your momma tell you that it's what on the inside that counts? Haha, kidding aside, I loved this beauty. It was delicately earthy, creamy, and just literally exploding with flavor.
Four Cheese 255.00PHP or 5.68USD. "Parmesan-cruster quarter-pounder beef bomb blend patty of chuck and short rib, yellow cheddar, aged gruyere, mozzarella, arugula, garlic aioli all on a sesame seed bun."
Now, this is one kind of sticky, stringy mess I'd like to deal with. This drool-worthy burger variety also got an instant thumbs up from my office mate. By the end of our dinner, we were all nodding in agreement that this was no ordinary burger joint. I have a high regard for 8 Cuts now and have recommended it to friends, non-stop. It's like when you fall in love and you can't help yourself but gush over the reason your heart skips a beat.
Sub Atomic Bacon and Cheese Fries 115.00PHP or 2.56USD. We all shared a serving of fries to go with our burgers. While it was good, there is much room for improvement. I personally like my fries crispier and more tasty, but that's just me.
I say, order fries and stay for the burgers. 8 Cuts Burger Blends has renewed my view on burgers and instantly made a friend a burger convert, if that isn't proof enough for you, I don't know what's wrong with you. Hahaha, please don't kill me if ever we bump into each other soon. See you on my next pig out session!
