Dixie Cup Easter Baskets & Sunday’s Best #12

Our daughter has gotten to the age where she is beginning to understand the joy in giving other people gifts. She loves to draw & paint special pictures for us at home & she has a collection of them that she made for her friends. With Easter coming I thought we could make mini Easter baskets for some of her friends with just a few little treats inside. What you will need: 3 oz Dixie cups Paint Construction paper or foam pieces Yarn Hot glue (for adult use only) Directions: Paint your Dixie cups in pastel colors. Add diagonal lines if you would like to add a more basket look to them.
Set your cups aside to let dry.
Cut strips out of construction paper or foam about 5 1/2″ long. We use foam for sturdier construction.
Glue the strip to the outside of each side of your cup to form a handle.
Form small bows with yarn & glue to the front of your cup.
Let the glue dry & fill your baskets with Easter grass & a few Easter treats.
If you are looking for more great Easter ideas & crafts, you are in luck. Welcome this week’s Sunday’s Best Linkup.
Welcome to Week 12 of Mother 2 Mother’s Sunday’s Best Linkup. We’ve started our Spring Forward theme. I’m sad to say, I was hit with 3 inches of snow in my part of the world Friday, but I’m hopeful warm weather is around the corner. I need to see green soon!

Please help me thaw out by celebrating the arrival of warm weather with your Easter posts, crafts, recipes, gardening, decorating ideas, room makeovers, tablescapes, spring cleaning and organizational tips. Blow the dust off your old posts and link those too. Don’t have posts that fit into the theme, link up whatever post you would like to share. We would love to have SEO, blogging, and parenting tips, DIY projects, homesteading, homeschooling, and your posts on life. Your linkups and giveaways are welcome too. Anything goes here, as long as it’s family friendly.

Each week your hosts will select their favorite post and it will be featured the following week. An image from your post will be used on my blog the following week with a link back to your blog. Be sure to check back to see if you’re a Sunday’s Best featured blogger. All Featured Bloggers will have their posts Pinned to the Sunday’s Best Pinterest Board.
