Polishers Inc. - So 90's!

I already posted my final manicure for the TV theme week earlier today, but I had to do this second post too, since it's time for another Polishers Inc. manicure. I originally thought I would skip this Polishers Inc. round as the theme week was still going on. However, couple days back I did this gradient which made my bf say immediately that it looked like 90's themed to him. So it seemed like I had no choice but to post it now since our Polishers Inc. theme is So 90's!
This isn't really too creative since it's just a plain gradient, but like I said, it suited this theme quite perfectly, so I just decided to go with this simple manicure. Actually I did some simple nail art on top of this gradient, but that's not really suitable for this 90's theme, so I'll show that to you another day.
I used two new China Glazes from the Road Trip for Spring 2015 collection for this gradient. The blue one is called Dashboard Dreamer and the pinkish lavender one is called Wanderlust. I really fell in love with Dashboard Dreamer, it's such a delicate and beautiful color! Not sure about Wanderlust however, at least in this gradient it needed quite a few coats to get it even show a bit, but of course that was a bit my fault too since I should have used it as my base color instead of Dashboard Dreamer. Also I'm not sure if it was because of my top coat or these polishes, but for some reason I had some shrinkage, mainly on my tips and that isn't really nice at all. I used the a top coat (Mereneid Top It All) that I've been using quite a lot and haven't had that problem before this.
All in all I still liked this gradient quite a lot, it was truly delicate looking, very soft and sweet. And somehow the two colors do look together like a color combination that you would have had in the 90's. I wasn't really originally going for this, but as soon as my bf stated that my mani looked like some 90's sheets or something, it was quite obvious for me too.

Don't forget to check out also all other So 90's! manicures by the rest of the Polishers Inc. ladies!
