Broadway Market London

Broadway Market London

I can’t believe I’ve never talked about Broadway Market on the blog before! Tucked away in between London Fields and Regent’s Canal in Haggerston in Hackney, it’s a market that I regularly visit, if not to simply gawp at the incredible food!

Broadway Market is a street market open on Saturdays. There are various stalls offering a wide range of wares, but most sell food (which is just fine by me!). Street performers are a regular occurance here and the street is also lined with various boutiques, pubs and cafes, so there are plenty of opportunities to rest your feet if you’re feeling tired.

Sorry for such an image-laden post! I just love the vibe of markets and Broadway Market in London is no exception. I definitely recommend visiting if you plan on exploring East London, and I really recommend checking out the cafe / bar hybrid called “look mum no hands” on Mare Street whilst you’re in the area, it has a nice relaxed atmosphere with a slight vintage feel, there are large windows, low hanging lights and buntings hanging from the ceilings (who doesn’t like buntings?). It also has a fantastic range of drinks on offer and their homemade chocolate and hazelnut brownies aren’t bad either.

Do you regularly visit markets? What do you think of Broadway Market?
