Toni&Guy Rough Texturiser 200ml £7.19

I bought the Toni & Guy Rough Texturiser on a whim in Boots a few weeks back when it was 1/3 off (this seems to be regularly on offer if anyone's interested). It was bought in an attempt to achieve the dishevelled look as it promises a matt finish.
This comes in a spray bottle and is similar to hairspray. It'd be easy to pop in your suitcase or overnight bag if you're going away anywhere but I'd recommend the smaller size. Focusing on the product however, it doesn't really seem to do anything. I followed the directions and it promises instant root lift and backcombed effort with matt volume, yet I don't see any results aside from my hair being a *tad* more matt.
Have you tried the Toni & Guy Rough Texturiser?
