Lulu & Conrad’s Colorful and Festive Multicultural Wedding

Lulu and Conrad have a rich family history with roots in China, the Philippines, Guam, and the United States and as you’ll see in a bit, their wedding beautifully fused their diverse cultural roots. Thankfully we can witness it through the gorgeous photos by Teresa Klostermann with Teresa K. Photography. Here she is with the rest of the details:

There was a tea ceremony nestled in between their traditional wedding ceremony, a roasted pig for dinner, and a Tahitian dance performance at the reception that was straight out of a movie. And the styling was amazing!! Everything from the pastel paper lanterns to the 1,000 handmade paper origami cranes hung for luck with love and care by Lulu, Conrad, and their families. And of course Lulu’s UHmazing Maggie Sottero dress…whimsical with a bit of edge…it was perfect!

It truly was a magical day filled with love, happiness, and a perfect balance of tradition both old and new. It was a day where the past met the future and love was everywhere. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way for Lulu and Conrad to celebrate the start their of life together as man and wife!

Unfortunately I couldn’t get hold of the couple but wedding planner Lora Ward with A Day to Remember Wedding & Event Planners is here to tell us about the details that made Lulu & Conrad’s wedding extra special:

These are a lot of what went on in this fun, festive wedding
* Hand-made wooden directional signs indicating all the many places their guests came from (from Guam to back East)
* Hand-made origami colorful cranes
* Paper lanterns strung over the ceremonial patio
* They conducted a traditional tea ceremony within the wedding ceremony (which is different as often times the tea ceremony is held prior to the wedding)
* Fantastic Guamanian dances – it was like a floor show!
* The ceremony programs were fun and different!

Thank you so much, Teresa, for sending your always-beautiful photos my way, and congratulations Lulu and Conrad! I wish you a happy married life!
