Spinz Sun Tan Remover Cream – Review
The weather in Kolkata has been lovely the last few weeks. It has been raining, the humidity has gone down, the skies are cloudy and it is generally quite lovely. All these days I was only travelling from home to office but the day I had to go out was the day the sun came out in all its glory. And to top it off, the cab I was travelling in broke down in the middle of the road and I had to walk a long way to reach my destination. Blazing sun humidity walking a long distance = not only a bad temper but also the dreaded sun tan. I forgot to apply sunscreen and so when I came back home, I saw my face had turned a shade darker. And that is when I decided to test the new Spinz Sun Tan Remover.
Spinz Sun Tan Remover is a cream based product that does not have bleach. It has natural ingredients like milk, honey and lemon that fight against skin tan . It is a cream-based product which makes it easy to apply and easy to wash off.
Price: INR 10 for 9 gm, 49 for 25 gm and 89 for 50 gm
How to use:
- Wet the skin where the product needs to be applied
- Apply a thick layer of the Spinz Sun Tan Remover cream on the tanned area of the skin and leave it on for 5-10 minutes
- Massage it gently into the skin avoiding the eye contour
- Rinse thoroughly with water
The Spinz Sun Tan Remover cream comes in a purple and white tube and also in small sachets for a one time use. It is quite a thick cream and you are supposed to apply a thick layer pretty much like a face pack on wet skin. Initially, there is a tingling sensation which thankfully does not last for long. I did not feel any irritation or feel as if my skin was on fire. After washing off the cream, my face did look brighter but I will not say that it removed the tan completely. Just lightened it slightly. I also saw that it did make my skin slightly dry after washing off so if you have very dry skin, I’ll advise you to try out the sachets first and see how your skin reacts.

Overall Thoughts - I think the cream is effective if the sun tan is mild. If your skin has become really tanned, one application will not yield very effective results. You will need to apply a few times. I’ve also tried the cream on my feet and there as well, it did lighten slightly. At the price, the Spinz Sun Tan Remover is a decent buy. It does reveal brighter and slightly lighter skin after using once. And the best part is that it does not lead to any irritation or allergies. #SpinzBanTheTan
