{Dr. Jart} Water Replenishment- Korean Face Mask

Today, I’d like to share my review of Dr. Jart’s Water Replenishment Cotton Sheet Face Mask. Have you noticed that Korean masks have become very popular in the past couple of years?! They’re showing up everywhere!
A few weekends ago, I was at a Vegas pool trying to enjoy the warm sun. I wore sun block, a hat, and was in the shade and even still… my face was red, swollen and hot within 30 minutes. The 105 degrees did not agree with me. I thought I was going to pass out from the heat so I decided to head back to the hotel room to take a cold shower.
After a cold shower, my skin was still red and swollen. Then I remembered (!)… I had a moisture mask in my suitcase. I’m SO glad that I took my Dr. Jart’s Water Replenishment Mask. You won’t believe the before and after pictures!
I thought I had done some real damage to my skin. The blood vessels looked like they had popped, my eyes were bloodshot red, and my skin was so swollen.
The picture below was taken after my cold shower. That’s almost 45 minutes after I had gotten out of the sun! My skin was still very angry.
15 minutes later… Wow.
Final Thoughts: I was amazed with the results. The photo above was not retouched in any way. After 15 minutes with the cotton mask, the swelling and redness was gone. My skin looked and felt amazing. My pores even looked smaller! I generally like sheet masks that are either gel or made of a thicker material, but this cotton mask worked great.
I was just hoping to give my parched skin some moisture but I got so much more. My skin was calmed and soothed. Needless to say, I’ve since picked up more Dr. Jart masks since then, so stay tuned for those reviews!
