Calm Office by

egg light Last year we watched the play turned movie Glengarry Glen Ross, and instead of paying attention to the words, I was captivated by the light and colors of the Chicago office: light sages, blues, beiges and grays. It was all quite mesmerizing to me. Oh, how colors get me off onto tangents that have nothing whatsoever to do with the original intent! So of course the whole time we we watching, I was thinking, "I simply must create a room around these magnificent colors." So I did. And here it is: a modern office (how could it be anything else with such an inspiration?) made peaceful and inviting, a far cry from the chaos of that Chicago office.
Has a movie ever inspired you with a room makeover? I know there are several sets out there (Nora Ephron films, for example) that are revered for the design. Which one would you love to live in?
