DIY Re-fashioned Dress

Hello Lovelies! Today I’m wearing a diy re-fashioned dress. This dress was super easy and very fast to make because the bodice portion was already done. I took an Old Navy tank dress that was too short to be a dress on me and too long to wear as a top and cut it into a tank. I then took about a little over a yard of leftover black cotton stretch knit fabric I had in my stash and made the skirt. I simply fold the fabric in half. Cut the top, sewed up the sides and hemmed the bottom. Then I folded the top down about 1 inch and sewed a casing for the elastic. Voila I had a cute and simple dress.

What I’m Wearing:

Dress: DIY, love these similar styles here and here (both available in tall, regular and petite)

Shoes: Tesori via Nordstrom Rack (size 12), similar, similar both up to size 12

Jacket: Old Navy (old), love this similar one in tall sizes

Bag: J. Crew, currently 25% off with code ‘springsale’

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
