Pur Minerals Chateau Cheeks and Lips!
Pür Minerals is a brand that is really growing on me. They have quality products at reasonable prices and can be found at Ulta. What’s not to like? Cream blushes are my blush choice for the warmer months and I was dying to try the new Pür Minerals Chateau Cheeks Cream Blush ($18).

This blush was made for us over 40 gals! What it DOESN’T do is fabulous! It doesn’t: emphasize pores, have overt shimmer, make skin look dry, slide off your face and/or disappear. This is what it DOES do: blends smoothly, feels exceptionally creamy, imparts a youthful look. This blush performs like any of high-end counterparts: Bobbie Brown, Laura Mercier, etc. I love Coy, such a pretty and natural looking peach flush. I will definitely be picking up Flirt too. Pür we want more colors!! How about a berry? Coral? You get the idea.
Chateau Cheeks Cream Blush contains NO mineral oil, petrolatum or lanolin oil and is non-comedogenic. Paraben-free. Gluten-free.

Unlike most lip glosses, these are NOT sticky at all and apply smoothly with beautiful opaque color and shine. They feel very hydrating on your lips. There are currently eight shades available:
Scandalous- sheer, berry red with gold pearl
Bossy - medium, brown with gold pearl
Foxy - mid-tone coral
Tickled - nude pink
Lovestruck - soft, bright peachy-pink
Spoiled - bright, rich pink with subtle pearl
Exposed -neutral, sandy pink with pearl
Glitzy - rosy mauve with subtle pearl
I have Foxy and Tickled. Tickled is much darker than the description on my lips, but then again my lips are naturally cadaver white. I love the great pigment these glosses have and how you can build the color.
Worth mentioning for those of you sensitive to fragrance, the Pür Mineral Chateau Kisses lip glosses do have fairly strong scent—I can detect vanilla but it is sweeter than that. Cupcakes, maybe? The scent doesn’t linger, but it is quite strong out of the tube.
Sadly I didn’t notice any plumping effect and I need it! Regardless, I love the pigment and slip of these glosses.
Bottom Line: Pür Minerals is a great brand with reasonable prices. Definitely check them out!
