Lauren Moffatt S/S 2013

I first came across Lauren Moffatt‘s work last Spring 2011. I was working on my previous show, I chanced on one of her dresses and I used it as the starting point of a well-received painting. Lauren Moffatt was originally a graphic designer. She left her job and launched an RTW line in the year 2000. Moffatt’s love of fine art and modern design, as well as her unique sensibility for color, texture and detail continue to be cornerstones of her aesthetic, establishing her as one of the most coveted independent women’s designers.
