From Venus With Love
A very special love locket from Venus With Love…
Love is something that’s really important to me, I think it makes your life that little bit more special and it helps with feeling fulfilled. It doesn’t necessarily mean love with a romantic partner, but love from family and friends too. Having people in your life that you class as special and important, people that make it worthwhile and people that give you happiness and support.
I came across the brand Venus With Love a couple of months ago and I fell in love with the concept. They have little lockets that you open up and fill with charms. As a collaboration with them, I chose to design a locket centered around love, so with the back plate having ‘love’ written on it, I chose to include some special charms which mean something to me. I have inside the locket:
Hearts – to represent my love. A paw – to display my love for animals. Diamond ring – to represent commitment. A music note – to show my love of music and singing. A red London bus – to represent England and where I’m from. Cherries – my favourite fruit and old email address. Rubies – to represent a love stone, and finally, a love letter, to represent a long distance relationship. All of these are special and mean a lot to me, making the locket really unique and personal. I wanted to include some initials too, but unfortunately there’s no room!
I would love to know what you think of the locket I designed. Is love also important to you too? Sometimes it can come across that fashion bloggers like to be the centre of attention and are quite selfish, but that really couldn’t be further from the truth for me.
