Daily Style: What I wore to a Job Interview

This morning I have a job interview. It’s been a few years since I have been to one but I use to be okay at them. Now I start to doubt myself. Will I remember how to act in an interview situation? Am I so use to being me that I can’t switch it off and the daggy dork will escape? Will I get nervous and talk too much … or not enough? Probably yes to everything.

Daily Style: What I wore to a Job Interview

It’s a position in a Law Firm and all my Country Road suits and shirts were donated to charity years ago. So my office wear wardrobe is pretty slim. Lucky I discovered this old Review dress in my cupboard. This is the perfect style for work. Sort of 50s style, fitted at the top and full at the bottom. It’s comfortable, flattering and easy to move in. I love the mixed prints.

I threw a Witchery Blazer over the top to cover my bare arms and a simple pair of Wittner stilettos to finish it off. I also removed most of my jewellery because I didn’t want to sound like a gypsy walking down the halls.

How are you in interviews? Any tips?
