The 10 Best Holiday Decor Finds, Nordic Christmas Edition

We like the way ancestral traditions tend to surface right around the holidays. In the Scandinavian house, you can find heritage hanging from the rafters, up and down the tree, and set out on the mantel. Here are our favorite Nordic decor finds on offer this season.

Above: Copenhagen-based Ferm Living makes a matte brass Candle Holder Circle that can be either suspended by leather cords or placed directly on the table (with the cords removed); €129 ($137 USD) at Ferm Living.

Above: Snow Doll Candles are €12 ($13 USD) for a set of 12 at Merci in Paris.

Above: Handmade in Sweden with Gotland sheep hair by Åsas Tomtebod, the Small Tomte Gnome in Grey, shown here, is $23.38 at The Local Brands. You can also find the Gnomes in Red at Heath Ceramics every December.

Above: The German Wooden Folk Art Tree Topper is $70 at Schoolhouse Electric.

Above: At John Derian—a go-to Christmas decor source for New Yorkers—a decoupage Norway Spruce 4-Inch Round Ornament is $55.

Above: Hand hammered in Sweden by Malin Appelgren—in a tradition passed on by her grandfather—the Brass Garland measures 25.5 inches long; $380 at March.

Above: Scandi company House Doctor makes a Black Pine Tree Ornament for $9 NZD ($7 USD) available at Father Rabbit in New Zealand.

Above: A Swedish classic, the Dala Horse is available as a tree ornament in white or red for $4 each at Swedish Inspirations.
