A Rustic Idyll for Four in Mykonos, Greece

After discovering Villa Honora on the Greek island of Mykonos, we’re planning our next Cycladic tour. Renovated by Grecian design firm Harris & Angelos, the low-slung villa, whitewashed villa is nestled into the rocky landscape and has a simple interior in a palette of gray and pale yellow. It sleeps four guests across two buildings, a loft with an open floor plan and a studio with a kitchenette and en suite bath.

Villa Honora rents for €376 ($426) per night during the off season (May to June) and €414 ($471) in high season (June to September) through Beyond Spaces Villas and Villas of Distinction.

Above: The Grecian villa is 20 minutes from town and five minutes from the nearest beach in the northern part of Mykonos.

Above: The entryway to the villa is an enclosed courtyard that also separates the main house from the studio.

Above: The main house features an open loft across the kitchen, dining, and living areas, and a double bed.

Above: Off-white bookshelves and dining tables painted in a high-gloss butter yellow.

Above: The integrated platform sofa is built from a collection of pillows.

Above: Local cacti paired together in a terra cotta pot and an antique bronze candelabra.

Above: The sculptural double bed in the main loft has a built-in side table.
