A few of my favorite things
A favorite things post! Yeah! Here are some things that are getting me through this month:
First of all, can we just talk for a second about my good friend Nashroom up there. How cute is he?! That’s him, showing me his cheekies. I love that he looks like he’s got a migraine or something. Only his Pikachu can get him through his rough day! So cute.
Ok…… on to the links. Psssst…… A few of these are affiliate links, which means I may get a few pennies thrown at me if you buy something. I am sincerely using/loving every single one of these things though, and sought out the affiliate links on my own, not because I have been asked to by the seller.
1. DIY paint by numbers painting. Um….. a grown up and awesome paint by numbers DIY! Sold.
2. 12 ways to be a better bartender in 2015. Surprisingly, I haven’t made a lot of these classic cocktails! This is the year. This IS the year.
3. The Maddaddam trilogy by Margaret Atwood. Absolutely the best literary series I have read in a VERY long time. Dystopian futures……. get me every time. If you are a fiction lover, READ THESE BOOKS!
4. Pasta with braised onion sauce. Um….. yes please.
5. The perfect Italian meal, as chairs. AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! Radical.
6. Rifle Paper Co. iPhone 5 case. yeah, yeah, I’ve mentioned this before. But I use it, like, every day. Literally. STILL love it. And I’m a total ass wipe to my phone.
7. Tom’s Big Dinners. This is one of my all time fave cookbooks. The 5 spice roast chicken is one of my favorite recipes to make in the fall and winter. I want to make TD’s 5 spice EVERYTHING!
8. Good Seed Dave’s Killer Bread. Totally killer. It’s become a staple in our house. Once you pop you can’t stop! Eating toast!
9. Mysterio Predicts the future newborn tee. I got this for a friend’s little bun in the oven! He’s going to be a sword collector! Pretty awesome.
10. And finally……. this one is a NOT favorite thing. What is up with avocado toast!? Why is it such a thing? I really don’t need to see any more recipes of seeds on mashed avocado on toast. Yes, I like it. It’s delicious. But come on….. really?
