Get the Monotone Look

Ditch the sweatpants and dress to impress without having to think or hustle to much.
Monotone is the perfect look for you all to try out, a head to toe look in bright reds or whites can be tricky and scary but with the right directions, you'll be the master of monotoning in no time.
The monotone look has taken over the streets during fashion week and popular celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Solonge Knowles are often seen sporting this rocking new trend so today, I'm going to show you how you can pull of a daring head to toe monotone look very easily.

The White Look

Although white may not be considered as color, I think it's the perfect way to approach the monotone look. Don't be afraid to mix textures like combining neoprene with sheer or mesh textures, and toping it off with sleek leather. For me when it comes to a all white look, I like to keep them in the same tone. See, there are different shades of whites: ivory, ghost white, snow white, baby powder white…etc They might have subtle differences but I really recommend keeping the look in the same shades, or similar shades to create that sleek look.

If your not really a white type of girl the classic all black look or a head to toe beige/nude can also look amazing. (inspo here)

The Power Suit
When it comes to the suit I like them in powerful colors, bright red, cobalt blues or yellow.
But for fall, or winter I love dark tones like burgundy, forrest green, maroon..etc
There are so many silhouettes to chose from too: wide legged pants, fitted, oversized, loose, shorts…etc
The power suit is the most simple look that can take you from frump to sleek in no time. Layer a casual t-shirt underneath or go for a sleek bodysuit or crop blouse.
If your not a suit kind of person, another simple statement piece that can make you look slim and sleek is the Jumpsuit! A one piece that can take you from day to night.

50 Shades of Grey

During New York Fashion Week F/W 15 one of the biggest trends seen on the runway were grey. A entire grey look, paring knits, coats, jeans is perfect for a casual day out running errands or for work. Try adding different shades of grey for a fun twist on this gloomy color shame!
