Tokyo, Japan - Ginza District

Our final destination in Asia was a quick trip to Japan for a jewelry show and trend spotting. We arrived in the evening after an afternoon of traveling. On the way to our hotel, we put it out in the Universe that we were going to go to the Jason Mraz concert. We had tried to buy tickets back in the States, but they were sold out. And when we arrived at our hotel, the Concierge tried to get us tickets but also stated they were sold out. Needless to say, it didn't stop us from navigating our way through their underground train stations and land at the concert hall. We were able to get into the venue filled with Japanese people, Jason and his band, and watch the concert perched high atop a balcony. The concert was amazing, and afterwards, we met up with some of Jason's band members {who were the absolute coolest} and spent an evening eating french fries and pizza in a little restaurant tucked away somewhere in Ginza. It was such a fun night, and definitely one I'll never forget.
So, I have to admit. I have a serious love affair with Tokyo, Japan. I think it might be one of my favorite places I've ever visited, and it comes down to the people. It's hard not to fall in love with them. Like literally. I can't tell you how many times my heart grew interacting with them. They are so kind hearted, courteous, and respectful. I mean their culture and language! It's absolutely beautiful. There is such an energy in that city that I cannot even begin to describe. The dining, the shopping. It's so alive. And sparkly! We were shocked to find out that cab drivers wash and WAX their cars every day. There was literally no litter on the street. And hardly any trash cans either! Plus, they had hand washing sinks practically in every restaurant we walked into. On top of that, they had heated toilettes. It's a luxury I have yet to find in the states. And finally, cat cafes. I mean, come on. You wouldn't want to leave this place either.
