Paris Day Three: La Tour Eiffel & Montmartre

Shirt-Uniqlo//Skirt-Unknown//Shoes-New Look//Leather Jacket-

Day three started with a trip up the Eiffel Tower. Actually, in truth just half-way up due to the fact my very pathetic boyfriend, after clinging onto the barrier and shaking like a leaf for the first 674 steps to the half-way point, point-blank refused to go any further. Regardless, the views were stunning.

We then headed to see a bit of proper Paris in Montmatre. This included a wonder around the beautiful Sacré Coeur, a stroll around the Place du Tertre to see some very talented artists in action, a nibble on Macaroons a-plenty and finally a feast on some crackin' Moules Frites. Although slightly spoilt with tourists it was a truly beautiful part of Paris, teeming with cobbled streets, rustic bistros and patisseries with the most delectable looking cakes and tarts. After a lot more strolling we also stumbled on the Moulin Rouge which was pretty surreal although we couldn't justify the 100 euro price tag per ticket to see the scantily clad ladies do their thing.

My favourite new Uniqlo shirt came out to play once again, teamed with an old skirt of my mother's that I shortened last minute to make it look just right (I actually made a last minute dash to the local supermarché to source a needle and thread that morning, I'm not ashamed to say).
