Adapted Trifold Shutter Card…revisited!

A long while back, I designed a new Trifold Shutter Card template – with two things in mind. 1) Room to write, so we could make some for Operation Write Home. And 2) easier measurements! The one I had tried originally had ridiculous odd measurements that were really difficult to follow, and I need things…well, simpler. So…I created the template in December 2012.

This past summer, Narelle Darley emailed me that she wanted to make cut files for Cricut users….and since I wanted to share that with you all too, I had it on my list for months now to revisit that card. Yes, there are items that sit on my list for a lonnnnnng time! If you’ve made any suggestions for Technique Refreshes, it could take a while -but I always put suggestions on my list!

Below is my video of today’s card. Cards, actually! I made two, since I was doing inset die work that let me make two at the same time. If you can’t see the video below, click

So sad to have discovered last night that the tree dies used on this card have been retired. Bummmmmmer! But at least triangles are easy to cut out if you want to CASE this design, right?
