Dermalogica testing (day 5 of many)

Hi everyone,

It’s bedtime now and slowly my voice is returning and I’m starting to feel a bit better (I still can’t believe I’m showing you make-up free pictures for 5 days in a row of my “sick” face).

I started this morning and night routine using the Dermalogica – AGE smart Skin Resurfacing Cleanser

This is recommended for the smart management and treatment of skin aging, which sounds really nice if you ask me. This should give you ultra-clean skin after just one use with this dual-action exfoliating cleanser that contains no artificial fragrance or color.
Which is true, my skin felt wonderfully clean (I was able to get two uses out of this sample and used my Clarisonic both times). I did really think this had a fragrance because it had a pleasant smell.
You’re supposed to lightly lather it in your hands and then apply to a damp face and throat in the morning and the evening. But they do say to follow with a sunscreen when you use this in the morning which I did.

But first I used the last bit of the Dermalogica – Skin Renewal Booster.

which felt a little tingly this morning but it went away after about 10 seconds and I didn’t have any other reaction after that.

Over top I used a little of the Dermalogica – Sheer Moisture SPF 15 I’ve been using the last few days (I had a few of this sample).

and today I used a sample of the RENU – Eye and Lip moisturiser.

As I said before I used the same cleanser I used this morning, this night as well. After the cleansing my skin felt really clean but in a good way again, I prefer this to the other cleanser I’ve been using the last few days.

The product I used for tonight is a new one though, the Dermalogica – Overnight Clearing Gel (mediBac clearing).

I’m using this because in a few days I know I will have a hormonal couple of days where my skin tends to have a few little spots on my chin (you can see it’s getting a little red already). This product is recommended for breatout-prone skin and is an overnight treatment to help clear skin congestion and prevent future breakouts.
I applied a thin layer and that was it (which was very weird for me because I’m used to double cleansing, serum, nightcream and then an oil when I’m actually in bed). On my eyes I used the RENU eyecream again and a little L’Oréal Eyelash serum on my lashes. When I’m in bed I’ll put some Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream on my lips and will go to sleep.

If you’re wondering, my dad had his operation and he’s recovering and will come home again tomorrow. I made him this Origami Flower Bouquet which I will probably do a tutorial on in the future.
