In today’s so bizarre it has to be true news, Japan’s Narita Airport recently opened a toilet gallery. And yes, that means a gallery, like the ones usually kept for art, but for toilets. This gallery is the work of TOTO, Japan’s largest toilet manufacturer. The company has been having a difficult time selling their advanced (and costly) toilets worldwide. The solution? Opening a 10-room stall cum gallery in Terminal 2 of Narita’s Sky Lounge; the space comes complete with the design help from Klein-Dytham architects. We’re incredibly tempted to insert some scatological pun here but we’re grown ups, so we’re too old for that (redacted).
