Rare Japanese & Taiwanese Design Goods from London Store Native & Co

Founded by product designers, Taiwan born Sharon Jo-Yun Hung and British-Japanese Chris Yoshiro Green, Native & Co arrives in London’s Notting Hill. A beautifully pared back space, the new store is filled with objects designed to make your life that little bit more handsome. As our appetite for utilitarian homewares and objects continues to grow, small independents have been forced to find their own unique take on the market. With that in mind, Native & Co. put their insider knowledge to good use, stocking their shelves with “craft based home products” sourced in Japan and Taiwan from specialist workshops and local craftsmen.

Describing their range as “simple pieces of a discrete nature…objects with purity, where the material’s natural beauty is left untarnished,” each product is designed to quietly compliment your existing set-up. While recycled denim cushions, Japanese cherry wood dog bowls and decorative brass chopstick holders may not be necessities, we’re pretty sure you’ll find an excuse to part with your cash. With everything now available at the click of a button, a bricks and mortar store with a truly hard-to-find inventory is a rarity; we recommend a trip to Native & Co and challenge you to leave empty handed. Virtual shoppers, head to the website.
