Yuketen step forward with another oddball line of footwear, as usual looking to Southwest culture and sunny California for inspiration. Styled against Meg Company pals, Monitaly, Spring/Summer 2015 returns to lower and lighter styles more appropriate for the season. Staples including moccasins, boat shoes and chukkas all present and correct, those trademark touches from concho metal buttons and brogue detailing to ghilie style laces should keep fans of the brand happy. This being Yuketen, there’s plenty to challenge the conventional. Bold tropical prints across fabric deck shoes, zebra stripes, multicolored ‘crazy’ boots and open Grecian style sandals should suit those looking to stand-out.
