{life} when the husband's away...

Brett's been out of town the last day or two for work, so it's been just me and the pup. Sounds easy enough... except I'm fairly certain he was fully aware of the 1:1 ratio. I've never had so many toys jammed into my ankle at 90 mph. And for what it's worth, The Captain is fully capable of playing fetch for over an hour. Believe me. I know.

Last night, I decided to channel my old 'single' self. I lit some candles, put on some comfy pjs, turned on some old Grey's Anatomy, made some chili for dinner and artfully created the most ridiculous batch of pumpkin fluff.

Repeat after me -- PUMPKIN. FLUFF.

Go. Make it right now. It'll change your life. It'll also make you sick if you eat too much of it... not that I'd know or anything. *cough*

All in all, the pup and I had a good night bonding. You know, other than all the time he spent by the door waiting for Brett to (not) get home.... yeah.
