Photo Diary - Mallorca 2014
PORT D'ALCUDIA, MALLORCA
Sorry for the SUPER photo heavy post, but that's how I roll when I go away, memory card full of memories haha!
Mat & I spent a week in Port D'Alcudia at the start of the month (
vlog here, if you want to see it in its full glory!) and stayed at Hotel Playa Astoria, about 3 minutes walk away from the beach. Sure, we mainly booked it because of its #1 hotel in Alcudia Trip Advisor status, but we weren't disappointed at all. There was some bubbly waiting for us in our junior suite, with a huge jacuzzi tub, super king size bed and the best staff and service you could ask for.
Unfortunately, Alcudia itself wasn't really our cup of tea, but we still had a great break away. We definitely need to choose somewhere that isn't too much of a home-from-home next time. Eating British food and being around Brits isn't the ideal for us! We struggled to find those Spanish gems, with fresh fish and moreish tapas. The beaches are to die for though! White sands and gorgeous water, what more could you ask for?
