Spring Accessories with McArthurGlen

My Spring Accessories

Recently, I spent a sunny Saturday at the UK's largest designer outlet, Cheshire Oaks, which is a 45 minute drive from Manchester. It's home to some amazing designer outlet stores, such as Mulberry, Burberry, Calvin Klein Underwear, Lulu Guinness, Joseph and Michael Kors (to mention just a few), as well as lots of places to grab a coffee or a bite to eat when you've shopped too hard.
The kind people at McArthurGlen, who own a number of designer outlets in the UK, had challenged me to find the perfect accessories to show off in a Spring Style Diary (coming soon!). So armed with a £250 gift card, I made a note of all of the stores I just had to visit, and dragged Mat along for a day of shopping.

Mulberry Classic Booties in Ginger

I knew from the outset that I needed a new pair of shoes or boots, as they can transform an outfit so easily and my shoe collection had a distinct black theme that needed to be changed. I fell in love with a pair of heels in Joseph, which were unfortunately black and therefore not allowed, as well as a pair of Isabel Marant heels that were about 3 sizes too small.
Luck basically wasn't on my side until we arrived, for the second time that day, at the Mulberry store. The heavily discounted bags were still way out of my price range, but I spotted this pair of tan heeled boots that were the perfect height and made of soft Nappa leather.
They were probably a size 3, right?
Wrong. They were a perfect size 6, only £125 and fit like a glove. I practically leaped out of the Mulberry store with my huge Mulberry shopping bag! I'm so excited to style them up with stonewashed denim, stripey tops, crisp white shirts and girly florals. They'll be featuring in my upcoming 5 Day Spring Style Diary, so keep an eye out for that.

Swarovski Rose Gold Necklace Set

My other purchase was this beautiful necklace and earrings set from the Swarovski store. I actually only had my beady eye on the necklace, but the sales assistant informed me that they came as a set, which made the £71 price tag even better!
Two pink-purple jewels set in a rose gold chain, this was a love at first sight situation. I absolutely love rose gold jewellery and I think for spring it's a great alternative to cool-toned silvers or bright golds. It's a really beautiful set that I think will add a touch of sophistication to any outfit.
My final purchase was a pair of super cosy Ugg boots from the Ugg store, which were discounted to £50. They'll be staying firmly in my lazy weekend style though!
