friday finds.

this friday i’m all about flair. it’s that inexplicable, but ‘you know it when you see it’ sense of style that sends the ordinary into the extraordinary. or at the very least, a subtle addition to either your ensemble or your decorating that takes something very simple to the next level and makes it uniquely standout. eclectism is my thing, and i’m always aware of those wee details that make something special. here’s a few i rounded up for this weeks Friday finds. enjoy the weekend, everyone and seek out some style of your own!

xo, victoria

  1. this eclectic bedding makes my heart sing. it’s such a great mix of textiles and patterns and creates a really unique look that’s not one iota cookie-cutter.
  2. a string bag, is well, just a bag. but hey lookee what adding a pretty scarf, or even vintage-inspired bandana does for it! it looks trés chic, don’t you think? i’m stealing this look pronto-like!
  3. i love everything about this beautiful bohemian living space and most especially that filtered light through the breeze blocks. but they’ve done layering quite expertly from that subtle wide stripe in the floor to the mismatched seat cushions. just a lovely look all around.
  4. want to dress eclectically to match your pretty home? LJM embroidery’s etsy shop carries these really unique italian embroidered tops and dresses. this dusty pink maxi dress is just stunning!
  5. okay, ace & jig’s macaron napkin set is exactly what i speak of — the unexpected patterns at play here will take any dull old table setting to next level cool. add a pretty mix of florals and maybe some pink glassware and you have magic.
  6. this room is pretty great just as is — with that killer plum sectional sofa paired with a pastel pink patterned area rug. but go on — throw that modern twist into the mix with that fabulous mushroom-like lamp and you’ve got va-va-voom.
  7. i love all the layers of textiles and prints this room has going on. take them all away and you still have a mighty fine view, but adding the layered rug, bedding, kilm pillow and those lovely linen window treatments all add so much to a fairly simple space.
  8. again, a very simple bedroom gets such a big punch of panache with that pink bedspread and vintage portrait. love it all.
