great gifts for homebodies.

i love these Muuto dot coat hooks, via stadshem.

i like giving gifts a little bit untraditional in nature, but also ones that hopefully the recipients will love and cherish for a long time to come. many of my friends have a more modern aesthetic, or at least one that appreciates great design around the home. here’s just a few items for around the home that i think would make for fun, but long lasting, timeless presents this season.

oh my — smeg made us a toaster (and it comes in lots of other colors, too, but i’m quite partial to the black)!

great looking black & white ceramic sake set; the classically beautiful chemex coffee maker; a beauty of a copper industrial mirror wall shelf; a sleek looking uptown marble cheese board; herriott grace wooden spoon (but essentially anything from their beautiful shop makes a perfect gift); and mug from paper & clay studio.

Light box with changeable letters ‘SHINE ON ME’ by stockholm-based bxxlght.

beautiful gold & marble bar set from west elm.

the harlo copper pour-over kettle from kaurfmann mercantile.

DAVID EHRENSTRÅHLE’ s GUIDE TO SAN FRANCISCO prints (check for other cities, too — like new york, boston, and london).

eleanor pritchard’s beautiful 405 line blanket.
