A “must have” for summer travel and backyard fun

It’s officially summer time – the time of year that many people look forward to. Vacation, trips to the beach, time off from work & school and lazy days poolside – there is so much to do during the summer months.

Whether you are traveling or simply hanging out by your backyard pool, it’s always a great idea to keep a camera close by to capture those special moments. Lugging around a camera isn’t always the most ideal situation, however carrying a cellphone in your pocket is easy enough.

Most cellphones on the market have less than impressive cameras. Most have a low pixel count.

I am in love with the camera. My expensive camera (real camera, not a cellphone) cost me a few hundred dollars and it’s not even 21 megapixel.

When I’m out and about with my family there are plenty of times I want to snap a picture. It’s easier to do with my cellphone. Besides, why lug around your camera if you don’t know for certain you’ll need it. At least with a phone in your pocket or purse you are ready to take pictures whenever something amazing happens.

I know a lot of people like to take selfies to share on social media. I like the idea of using voice command instead of those silly selfie sticks.

I also really like how durable this product is. When you are hiking, hanging out at an amusement part or taking part in activities the last thing you want to do is have to worry about your phone falling out of your pocket and breaking or your child splashing you poolside and getting the camera wet.

Gorilla Glass is very strong. I wish all phones came with it. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve replaced our daughter’s phone because she dropped it and cracked the screen. It’s expensive too, even with insurance.
