New Snack Packs from Justin’s

When you are on the go, what do you bring along to snack on? Do you grab for chips and candy, or do you bring a long fresh fruit or vegetables?

I work part time outside of the home. I’m usually home for lunch, but sometimes I find myself a little hungry while at work and I need something to hold me over until I can get home to make lunch.

I like to mix it up a bit and bring something different each day. The only problem is that I am getting bored with my usual “go to” snacks.

I try and bring healthy snacks with me to work.

Are you familiar with Justin’s nut butters? I have reviewed Justin’s products in the past. I especially love their organic peanut butter cups. Yum!

Justin’s makes naturally delicious, high-quality nut butters and peanut butter cups that deliver great taste, unique texture and convenient nutrition. Established in 2004 in the home kitchen of health enthusiast Justin Gold, Justin’s supports an on-the-go lifestyle and was the first nut butter brand to market nut butters in single-serve squeeze packs. Justin’s peanut butter cups are USDA-certified organic and are made with Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa. The nut butters are finely crafted with Justin’s one-of-a-kind grinding process to create an exceptional texture and flavor experience. All seven varieties offer a fiber-rich source of protein perfect for snacking anytime of the day.

Justin’s recently released a new product to their yummy product line – Snack Packs. Snack Packs are great for on the go snacking.

Snack Packs come with one of Justin’s three delicious nut butters combined with gluten-free pretzel sticks. The Snack Packs deliver great taste and and high-quality ingredients one would expect from the brand.

“Snacking on-the-go can often mean sacrificing nutrition for convenience, or sacrificing taste for health. We knew we could put our minds (and our nut butter dipping mechanisms) together to find a better-for-you solution that is fun and exciting,” said Justin Gold, founder of Justin’s. “These Snack Packs pair our popular nut butters with delicious, lightly salted pretzel sticks to create a one-of-a-kind, protein-packed snack that will make your taste buds sing.”

These convenient, all-in-one snacks are packaged in 100 percent recycled plastic.

I received some of the new Snack Packs to review.

First and foremost I appreciate that the pretzels are NOT coating with salt. I love pretzels but many pretzels I can’t eat because they are totally covered in salt. Even when I buy pretzels from New York City sidewalk vendors I have to knock off all the salt. Thank you Justin’s for making a lightly salted pretzel.

The Snack Packs come in three flavors – Classic Almond Butter, Maple Almond Butter and Chocolate Hazelnut Butter. Keep one in your desk, tuck one inside your purse and/or put one in your child’s lunchbox.

They range between 200 – 210 calories per Snack Pack.

I find these snacks to be very satisfying and delicious. The nut butter satisfies my sweet tooth and the slightly salty pretzel satisfies my need for something crunchy. It’s the perfect pairing.

Because these are nut butters and not the highly processed peanut butter you find in similar snack products, they butter might need to be mixed up a bit to soften it. That’s easy enough to do. Simply use one of the pretzels.

The nut butter is also a bit thicker than processed peanut butter, so don’t expect it to be entirely smooth and creamy.

These are delicious. I really enjoyed them and will pick up more when I find them in the stores. They will be sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide for a retail price of $1.99.

Justin’s Snack Packs are part of the Made to Matter – Handpicked by Target product collection, which brings together 31 leading natural, organic and sustainable brands all made with simple, recognizable ingredients. Made to Matter is designed to provide better choices for all and introduces Target’s guests to new products from some of the most innovative wellness brands, including Justin’s.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Target and the other Made to Matter brands to support such a powerful movement for good,” said Gold. “This program truly makes a statement in the wellness space, and the collaboration that we’ve seen as a result is pretty incredible!”
