La raison? Ian Stevenson, un de mes artistes préférés, expose en Belgique ! Je ne suis pas une dingue d'art et loin d'être une spécialiste, mais quand c'est drôle, malin et joli, je ne peux qu'aimer.
Today, for once, let's talk about art !
Why, all of a sudden you may ask? Well, simply because Ian Stevenson, one of my favourite artists, is having an exhibition in Belgium ! I sure ain't no art freak, but when it's funny, smart and pretty, I can only give in.
Ian Stevenson est un anglais au sens de l'humour bien aiguisé: critique du monde de l'art et de ses adeptes, amateur du dessin sur papier à l'ancienne, street-artiste décalé, il traite les sujets les plus sérieux comme les plus légers, avec la même désinvolture.
Ian Stevenson is a british man with a lot of humour: his creations criticize the artsy-fartsy world and its citizens in a very funny, laid-back and edgy way. With his pens and his paper, this quirky street-artist showcases both serious and light subjects subjects with the same airiness.
Retrouvez donc jusqu'au 1er novembre l'exposition Image Not Found à la galerie Alley à Hasselt - qui d'autre part est une très chouette ville à visiter donc profitez-en !
I can only recommend you to visit the Alley gallery in Hasselt (and the rest of this very pretty city while you're there) before the 1st of November to see the exhibition Image Not found. At least, that's what I'm gonna do !
