So here’s the deal. Ceiling fans have been around…well, since the early 1860’s in the United States. At that time, they were not powered by any form of electric motor. Instead, a stream of running water was used. Crazy! They were once a major necessity and can still be for some people but for others, it’s complete comfort. But the true question remains….do you like ceiling fans?? Do you have them in your home? Do you like the look of them? Are you too stubborn to get one but you’re melting from heat? To be honest, I’ve never liked the look of ceiling fans. But I have to admit, now that we have some modern, sleek options, I don’t mind them. And if they are going to cool me off on a hot summer day, yes please! Remember, when choosing the perfect ceiling fan, choose one that disappears into your room design. You don’t want a giant, awkward fan that sticks out like a sore thumb.
