Easter Goodie Bag

I know I’ve been extremely absent from the blog with the exception of a Slice of Life post here & there as well as a random post on occassion. I’m trying my best to get back to a schedule of posting more regularly. For those that are still following and sticking with me I really appreciate it.

When I lost my dog in December it hit me like a freight train. First, her illness that started the first day of November literally came out of nowhere. There were no signs that anything was wrong. She literally went from normal to very sick overnight. Then dealing with her leukemia diagnosis and chemo treatments took it’s toll on me both physically and mentally. I haven’t had to deal with death in my immediate family for a number of years and it hit me hard. It was a great loss but I’m in a better place now except for a bad day here and there. I know I don’t have to explain why I’ve been absent but it’s part of the therapeutic process to get it out. I feel like readers of the blog are part of my family and I can be open and honest here.

Okay enough of the deep stuff. I’m going to slowly get back to posting recipes and tutorials since my wrist is starting to feel better. In case you didn’t know I’ve been having issues again after my last injection wore off. Acupuncture seems to be helping and I’m hopeful. Crafting is easier for me to do right now so I combined my love of crafts with my love of sweets and made these cute Easter goodie bags using Lawn Fawn’s goodie bag die.
