tees, sox, & being an imperfect toy

I am trying more and more to find ways to be just a little rough around the edges in the work that I do. Not in that “I don’t care” kind of way, but more in a life is messy, things are imperfect, and imperfections are beautiful kind of way. It feels more real, less slick.

Maybe that’s why I’m so attracted to toys like TEEsox’s little creatures. They’re a bit imperfect, but the little details equal up to a perfect whole. Mismatched, and made from all recycled/upcycled fabrics, flotsam, and jetsam, each one feels so very special. I love all the quirky combinations, and the sweetness of mismatched eyes and stitched lips makes them all that much more approachable and loveable. Check out TEEsox for pirates, and superheroes, and other animals too!
