HOUSE MOUSE AND FRIENDS MONDAY CHALLENGE #193 ~ "DOTTY FOR DOTS"

Hello and welcome to another House Mouse Monday! We have a new challenge starting today over at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge and the theme is "Dotty for Dots". For my card, I used DCWV cardstock that was dry embossed with dots, then I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil and Tim Holtz Salty Ocean Distress Ink to stencil more dots on top. Then ... just to get a little dotty about it ... I used the same stencil to put Versamark on top of the Distress Ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder with a little glitter in it.

If that wasn't enough dots (and clearly I thought it wasn't), I added sequins with seed beads in the center and dotted ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to finish the background.

As for my image, I stamped the Relaxin' Bubbles Happy Hopper stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I cut it out with the My Favorite Things Stitched Squares die and mounted it on Recollections cardstock. The little heart was stamped with a sentiment from Stampin' Up!, cut out with the My Favorite Things Stitched Hearts die, and embellished with twine from American Crafts.
