Review: Hair Rehab London Syn Wrap Ponytail

I always welcome more volume to may hair, especially when it is to create a long, luscious ponytail. The Hair Rehab London Syn Wrap Ponytail is just the right help for me to achieve it.

The colour is Midnight, which is a great match to my roots, but not so good to my tips, still carrying darkened highlights I am trying to get of. But for the ponytail, this doesn’t matter that much, as my real hair is well hidden most of the time when wearing this!

Lauren Pope is the name behind Hair Rehab London – an extension wearer herself, it does give the product more credibility, being the creator and face of the brand.

The brand’s Instagram is very prolific in showing how easy it is to apply the pieces – not only the wrap ponytail, but the extensive range of products – plaits, messy buns, clip-ins…

Here is Lauren explaining how to use the Syn Wrap Ponytail:

I found it extremely easy, really. Just make a ponytail with your own hair, use to claw to secure between head and own hair, wrap it around and secure with hair grip. It takes me only minutes to have it ready to go!

I really put his to the test; I’ve been using it mainly for my hoop practices as it photographs very well and is secure enough for me to be upside down without worrying about it! And it’s very comfortable on. Below is the ponytail in full swing!

This is a synthetic product (what they call “true to life hair fibre” so it shines more than natural hair and is quite thick. However, as far as synthetic hair goes, it doesn’t look – or feel – that fake.

It does tangle a bit, but you can detangle is easily while on your hair and after use. It does shed a fair bit when brushing, but because it is so thick, you don’t really notice!

Overall, a nice addition to my hair arsenal!

You can find the Hair Rehab London Syn Wrap Ponytail at selected Superdrug shops around the country.

It costs only £21.99 (which I think is good value) and comes in 13 colours. You can also see other Hair Rehab London products available at Superdrug. You can also use the Click & Collect Service or order online.

Over at the Hair Rehab London website, you can also check out their very extensive range of hair extensions and pieces, including synthetic and natural hair.

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my experience with the product and reflects my honest opinion on them.
