So Many Lovely Things

Review: Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 eye palette

I am obsessed with eye palettes. There is something about having lots of options in one place that just makes me feel good and risking sounding a bit weird – safe.

Makeup Revolution is renowned for having an amazing (and vast) selection of eye palettes to cater to all tastes – without breaking the budget – and the Iconic Pro 2 is no different.

This palette, which comes with the PRO 1989 double-ended brush, contains a great array of natural tones in matte and shimmer. Apart from the usual neutral shades – beiges, golds, taupes, coppers, earthy browns, steel grey – it also has some very wearable wearable touches of colour, like a deep mauve, petrol blue and moss green.

The formula is pretty good – well pigmented with great blendability and decent duration. When picking up from the pan, the shadows powder a little bit, so there is some excess left, especially on the matte ones.

The double brush is decent enough. It is a quite slim and the applicator side is, for me, a bit on the small side and maybe even not packed with enough bristles, having said, it does the job fine.

The blending side, although small, is very efficient; very soft with good precision for great blending. Both sides pick product very well.

Certainly a palette that will remain with my go-to items for the day-by-day.

The Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 palette costs only £6.99 (amazing value for money and quite unbelievable for the quality!) and can be bought from Superdrug and Makeup Revolution website.
