Introducing Make It Market Mini Kit: Garden Gild

Betsy has done it again! Another gorgeous Make it Market Mini Kit called Garden Gild. The papers in this kit are so beautiful and the dies? Amazing! Here is my first card using only a sentiment and a piece of the card stock.

For a CAS stampers like me who is afraid of a mess...yep that's me....this paper is so perfect! Its already watercolored and gold foiled for you! I just attached it to a card base and stamped a sentiment in the center. Easy peasy....and it looks like I did a lot right? :) Love this shine....

This next card was really hard to photograph but in real life it turned out really fun! There are 3 layers to this one....

The bottom layer is one of the watercolored papers included in the kit. The next layer is a layer of vellum, heat embossed with the gorgeous sentiment "Wishing you Happiness" and then last, I used the Cover Plate from the kit in white for an overlay. The cover plate has both top and bottom in the flowered detail but I used a kraft knife to cut the top so it is just the frame. The color from the watercolor layer is muted but still just a fun pop of color.
